Vic Wilson entered two non-championship races (Syracuse Grand Prix and International Trophy) with a private BRM P261 with a 2-liter BRM V8 engine. He raced at the Belgian Grand Prix in Spa-Francorchamps along with Bob Bondurant sharing their car, but he couldn't take the start of the race.
