This account is dedicated to progressing the F1 Wiki in ensuring that only verifiable information is published on the Wiki. Whilst informative, some of the sources under the previous authority proven to be questionable and unverifiable. This is not to discredit the current work being done on the website which has significantly greater legitimacy.
This is not vandalism, it is merely ensuring greater accountability to the potential of this part of the Formula One community. The previous illegitimate writings will still be remembered through the page history. In terms of historical context, this begins the second great purge of the F1 Wiki.
Whilst this may seem insulting to a previous writer here whom was pioneering for Formula One in both Freedom of Information and creative approaches to demonstrating Formula One history. It also serves to protect the personal interests of that writer from potential financial liability from either the Formula One community or its broadcasters.
