Thomas Monarch (born 3 September 1945 and died 16 March 2009) was an American racing driver who participated in local races in Mexico and the Bahamas using a Lotus 18 he had purchased in 1963. He was unknowingly entered into the 1963 Mexican Grand Prix by the event organizers. Upon learning of his entry, he subsequently withdrew. At the age of 18, had he would have been the youngest Formula One starter and was technically the youngest driver entered into a race, at the time.
