This is the project page for Project Grands Prix, which aims to complete race reports for all races which have been part of the F1 World Championship since 1950. As yet only a small percentage of these have been completed. A preload template exists for this purpose: on beginning a new page, simply click "Grand Prix" in the top banner to preload all relevant sections into the page. Then just fill in the blanks.
This project was begun by Gyarados Magnus and MTracey1. It currently has three users dedicated to this task. If you would like to help, you can add your username to one of the following lists (if you would like to be considered for Project leadership, please discuss this with an existing admin).

Project Update[edit source]
Thought I'd say well done to everyone, we are actually getting the grand prix articles up to date, whilst this project is a long way from completion we actually have grand prix articles that are probably the most detailed on the internet. That's preety impressive I think. I think we all would like to see this wiki become the great database of Formula One knowledge on the internet rivaling the quality of wiki's such as Wookiepedia in terms of specific Formula One knowledge. If the Formula One wiki were to become big I would not be surprised to see some famous names contribute to its work in time.
I think if all that is even possible to happen we need to speed up the editing process by working together as a coordinated team. There is probably a group of four or five of us who consistently work on this wiki but whilst they produce quality work, the whole group is busy working on their own little thing. I think if all the editors focussed on completing this project we could have every world championship grand prix completed in having statistic tables and initial text drafted in each section done by February.
Myself and JPDurzel appear to be the main text racers. I must congratulate him for writing such well articulated articles in a speedy time that are both edited well and properly referenced. Personally I am focussing on writing as much as I possibly can find about the topic and whilst trying to complete it in the shortest possible time can tend to sometimes be a bit sloppy in my grammar.
However I think if we can work as quick as we can, we can get a drafted text information for every world championship grand prix up until 2015 by February. However I think this is only going to be possible if every one else chips in. Could all you guys who prefer focussing on statsitical information just please work ahead of us, get things like results tables and race entries completed for us, the writers can then come through and clean up with text writing. Also if someone could just go and edit our work to make sure our articles are making sense that would be great.
The following is a table of all Grands Prix between 1950 and the current season. Each race is marked with a symbol to represent its status:
Note: Although they cannot be marked, cancelled Grand Prix events also need to have an individual article. If you create an article to a cancelled Grand Prix event, please remember to add 1 to that year's count.
