Thailand is a country in southeast Asia, with the 20th largest population in the world. It has never held a race, nor had a team operate under a Thai license. It has had two drivers in Formula 1, with Prince Birabongse Bhanudej Bhanubandh (a member of the royal family) active from the late 1930s through 1954, and Alexander Albon driving in 2019 for both Toro Rosso and Red Bull.
