Rename/Retitle (Solved)Edit

May I propose that this template be retitled as F1 drivers killed while racing, and the appropriate link be to List of drivers killed while racing? The links in the template go directly to the driver articles, not to articles pertaining to their deaths, which could be misleading. MTracey1 PSN/XBL: Mackem1985 AdminSig 15:44, March 29, 2014 (UTC)

Sure, but the article it is linked to should not be changed. Canada Wesley Branton Canada(Talk) 15:50, March 29, 2014 (UTC)
The article that this template is linked to is actually a list of fatal accidents. Contains event, session and date of the accidents. Changing the template name is fine, but the article should remain the same. Canada Wesley Branton Canada(Talk) 15:52, March 29, 2014 (UTC)
I will go ahead and rename the template, but I will leave the article alone. I will change the template link display text to F1 drivers killed while racing. Is that ok?

Fair enough. Although if the title of the navbox is "F1 drivers killed while racing", I would prefer to point that to Category:Drivers killed while racing and add a "See also" to the bottom of the navbox to link to List of fatal accidents. Something like this:

V T E F1 drivers killed while racing
1952: Cameron Earl
1953: Chet Miller
1954: Onofre Marimón
1955: Manny Ayulo
1955: Bill Vukovich
