Edward "Ted" Whiteaway (born 1 November 1928 and died 18 October 1995) was a British racing driver whose career ran between 1951 and 1963, mostly in sports cars. He entered the 1955 Monaco Grand Prix in a privateer HWM 53, but failed to qualify.

He began racing in rallies in the early 1950s before moving to circuit racing. Although he raced primarily in sports cars, he did have some experience in formula racing. He built and raced his own Formula Junior car and only participated in a number of non-championship Formula One events in 1954 in his HWM.

He largely retired from racing after a racing accident in 1961. He later moved to Australia, where he died in 1995.
