Tazio Giorgio Nuvolari (November 16, 1892 - August 11, 1953) was an Italian motorcycle and racing driver, known for his appearances in pre-war Grands Prix. His racing career started in 1924.

He was one of the greats of pre-war Grand Prix, winning the 1932 European Championship. He also won the 1933 24 Hours of Le Mans with Raymond Sommer.

In 1935 he recorded what is often called the greatest win in all of racing history. The "Impossible Victory" came when he piloted an obsolete Alfa Romeo P3 in the German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring, defeating five Mercedes W25s and four Auto Union Bs.

Nuvolari ended his career in 1950 due to ill health, and died in 1953, after suffering a recurrence of his stroke.
