Suzanne "Susie" Wolff MBE (born Suzanne Stoddart on December 6, 1982) is a Formula One driver from Oban, Scotland. She was formerly a test driver at Williams. She is also the wife of Mercedes Formula One Team Principal and CEO, Toto Wolff,[1] who was formerly a shareholder in the Williams team.[2]

She was first announced as a development driver in 2012.[3][4] Wolff made her on-track début in Free Practice 1 at the 2014 British Grand Prix, and also drove in the first session at the 2014 German Grand Prix.[5] These drives made Wolff the first female driver to participate in a Grand Prix weekend since Giovanna Amati in 1992.[6] Free Practice 1 of Britain was not so great for Wolff, as she was only able to set one timed lap before her FW36 car received an oil-pressure problem.[7] However, she managed to finish 15th in Germany's first practice session despite her car being stuck on gear on her first lap.[8] On 28 November 2014, it was announced that she would stay with Williams in 2015 and be a test driver, having her position extended to compete in two tests and two Friday practice sessions.[9] The practice sessions that she will compete in were later announced on 3 March 2015, being the first practice sessions in Spain and Britain.[10] She took part in the first 2015 Barcelona test and the Spielberg test.[11] However, two months after Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas were signed for 2016, Wolff announced on 4 November 2015 that she would be retiring from motorsport after the 2015 Race of Champions, believing that she is unlikely to be given a seat. However, she added that she hopes her role in Formula One encourages other women to take part in the sport, as well as that she has plans to visit some of the races with her husband Toto and act as a friend of Williams.[12][13][14][15] On 15 January 2016, she and the Motor Sports Association announced an initiative called "Dare to Be Different", in an attempt to get more females into motorsport.[16] She was even confirmed to be one of the analysts for Formula One races shown live on Channel 4.[17]

In addition to her work in Formula One, Wolff took part in the DTM touring car championship, her seventh consecutive season.[18]

On April 10, 2017, Susie and Toto welcomed their first child into the world, a boy.

She has been working with the Venturi Formula E Team since 2018 until 2022.

In March 2023, it was announced that Susie Wolff becomes the managing director of F1 Academy. [19]
