Satoshi Motoyama (本山哲 - Motoyama Satoshi; born 4 March, 1971 in Tokyo, Japan) is a Japanese racing driver who was a test driver for the Jordan team in the early 2000's. He is best known for his illustrious career in the Japanese Super GT series, in which he won three GT500 class championships in 2003, 2004 and 2008 while driving for Nismo (Nissan's motorsports division), and won 16 races in the GT500 class. He also won four championships in Formula Nippon (now known as Super Formula), becoming one of the greatest Japanese racing drivers of all-time.

In 2003, Motoyama sought an opportunity to race in Formula One. On October 10 of that year, he got a Friday test drive at Suzuka ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix for Jordan. Two months later, he was given a chance to test for the Renault team at Jerez with aspirations of getting a drive for the 2004 season. He completed 69 laps in the test and surprised many by being just two seconds off their rising superstar Fernando Alonso. However, Motoyama did not get the drive, and he abandoned his pursuit of Formula 1 shortly thereafter, returning to Japan to resume his already successful career in both Super GT and Formula Nippon.
