Ross James Brawn OBE (born 23 November, 1954 in Manchester, Lancashire, UK) is an English motorsport engineer who currently serves as Managing Director, Motor Sport for Formula One Group following the takeover by Liberty Media.[1]
Prior to this, he was the team principal of Mercedes AMG from 2010 until the end of 2013. After a possible speculation to join McLaren in 2014, he announced his retirement on 1st February 2014.
Brawn quit the Mercedes team because he did not trust Toto Wolff and Niki Lauda.[2]
