Ronald Dennis CBE (born June 1, 1947 in Woking, Surrey, UK) is the team principal of McLaren, who started in 1980 and held the role for 29 years, until he stepped down in 2009.
However, he resumed his role in 2014, after Martin Whitmarsh left. On 15 November 2016, it was announced that he was going to step down again after problems with the shareholders, though he would still help "to protect the interests and value of McLaren and help shape its future."[1][2] He later resigned from his position and sold his remaining shares on 30 June 2017.[3]
He also voiced himself in the Tooned episode "A Glitch Too Far".
