Romain Grosjean (RO-man GRO-sjon; born 17 April 1986 in Geneva, Canton of Geneva, Switzerland) is a French-Swiss Formula One driver who is has driven for Lotus since the 2012 Formula One Season. He drove for the team previously, in 2009, when it was known as Renault.
He holds dual nationality, being Swiss, but uses a French racing license.
During the 2012 Belgian Grand Prix, Grosjean was involved in a multiple crash with Hamilton, Alonso and Pérez. Later, Grosjean received an one-race ban for the next race held in Italy and was replaced by Lotus test and resereve driver Jérôme d'Ambrosio.
He took the 2nd place in the 2013 United States Grand Prix, nearly close for his first win, breaking his highest finish record in 2013.
