The Renault RS22 was a V10 3.0L engine used and created by Renault for the 2002 Formula One Season in the Renault R202 car.
The engine used the unconventional wide-angle 111° engine layout used by its predecessor, the Renault RS21. The layout offered some performance benefits, but sacrificed power and reliability. The team had managed to work on some of the faults from the RS21 engine during development.
