The Renault E-Tech 20 was a V6 1.6L turbocharged hybrid engine produced by Renault for use in the Renault R.S.20 in 2020. McLaren also used the engine that season for the McLaren MCL35, although they changed to a Mercedes engine the following season.
Due to challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the regulations from 2020 were also carried over to 2021 with only minor modifications. Renault produced the Renault E-Tech 20B engine to power the Alpine A521 in 2021.
