Raymond Reginald "Ray" Jessop[1] (5 July 1930 - 7 January 1976)[2] was a Formula One Designer.
In 1974, he was asked by recently-formed team Token to design their car, the RJ02, which was named in honour of him. He also built the Motul M1 that was entered in the 1973 Formula 2 Season. He tragically died, aged just 45, from a stroke, in January of 1976.
