Poland is a country in central Europe, on the coast of the Baltic Sea. It is bordered by Russia, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Slovakia, Czechia and Germany. It is the 69th largest country in the world by area, and has the 35th largest population. The only Polish driver in F1, Robert Kubica, won the 2008 Canadian Grand Prix.
It only ever held a non-championship Grand Prix in years 1930-1933 on a street circuit in Lwów, now part of Ukraine. "Grand Prix of Poland" is a registered trademark for FOM, the famous circuit designer Hermann Tilke, designed a circuit to be placed in Gdańsk - though no investors were found.
