The Peugeot A20 was a 3.0L V10 naturally-aspirated Formula One engine developed by Peugeot for the 2000 Formula One Season. It was used solely by Prost in the AP03 chassis and was the final Peugeot engine used in Formula One.
Prost's car was uncompetitive during the 2000 season and the French team blamed the performance slump on the Peugeot engine. Peugeot fired back by publicly stating that the engine produced 792bhp, which was a competitive figure at the time.
Performance was not the only problem for the AP03 car, as the reliability of the engine was poor, which was something that Peugeot could not argue.
Over the course of the 2000 season, the relationship between Prost and Peugeot fell into disrepair and the French engine manufacturer announced they would leave Formula One at the end of the year.
