The Petronas SPE-01 was a V10 3.0L naturally-aspirated Ferrari 046 engine developed in 1996 and rebadged as Petronas for the 1997 Formula One Season. The engine was used by Sauber in the C16.
This was the first Petronas-branded engine in Formula One and the first Ferrari engine used by Sauber.
