Otmar Marin Szafnauer (born 13 August 1964 in Romania) was the Romanian-American Chief Operating Officer of the Force India team. He was formerly the Vice President of Honda Racing Developments and a member of the Management Board of the Honda F1 team.[1] He joined Sahara Force India in October 2009. After over 12 years at Aston Martin (formerly Force India), he joins Alpine as team principal at the start of the 2022 season.[2]
During the 1990's Szafnauer raced in USAC FF2000.
