Oliver Benjamin Gavin (born September 29, 1972 in Huntingdon) is a British racing driver, who never made it into a Formula One race seat, but made a living as the safety car driver between 1997 and 1999, before being replaced by Bernd Mayländer from 2000 onwards. He almost made it into a Pacific seat for the 1995 Australian Grand Prix, but did not have a Super License.
Since 2001, Gavin has competed in every single 24 Hours of Le Mans event, winning 5 out of 16. He also competed in the endurance rounds of the V8 Supercars in 2014.
