Naoki Hattori (服部 尚貴 in Japanese) is a former Japanese Formula One driver who only competed in 1991, where he failed to qualify both in Japan and Australia.
After leaving Coloni, he returned back to Japan to race in the Japanese Formula 3000.
Formula One Career[]
In 1991, as Coloni driver Pedro Chaves refused to drive for the Spanish Grand Prix, the team were looking for a new driver. The team would hire Hattori to drive the Coloni C4.
In the 1991 Japanese Grand Prix, Hattori was 16 seconds slower than nearest rival Martin Brundle.
