The Mercedes M09 EQ Power+ was a V6 1.6L turbocharged hybrid engine developed in 2018 by Mercedes. Mercedes used the engine in the Mercedes AMG F1 W09 EQ Power+ car, as well as supplying Williams and Force India (later called Force India) for their cars, the Williams FW41 and Force India VJM11.

Mercedes made significant changes to the engine compared to it's predecessor the Mercedes M08 EQ Power+ in an effort to ensure sufficient developments could be made until the new engine regulations in 2021.[2] A new feature on the engine was an engine mode often referred to as "party mode", which delivered extra engine performance for 1 lap. The team often used this mode during qualifying.

An engine upgrade was scheduled for the 2018 Canadian Grand Prix, but was delayed until the 2019 French Grand Prix due to reliability concerns. An additional upgrade was added at the 2018 Belgian Grand Prix. Despite the team's best effort, the Mercedes engine had a lower straight line speed than the Ferrari engine that year, for the first time since the start of the V6 turbo-hybrid era in 2014.
