The Mercedes-Benz FO engine series is a family of naturally-aspirated V8 and V10 Formula One engines, designed, developed and produced by Mercedes, in partnership and collaboration with Ilmor, for Formula One, and used between 1994 and 2013 season.[1] Over years of development, engine power managed to increase, from 690 hp (510 kW) @ 15,600 rpm, to later 930 hp (690 kW) @ 19,000 rpm.[2] The customer engines were used by Sauber, McLaren, Brawn GP, and Force India.
