The Mecachrome GC37-01 was a 3.0L V10 naturally-aspirated Formula One engine built by the French engineering company Mecachrome for the 1998 Formula One Season. It was a Renault RS9 engine, which Mecachrome had paid Renault to develop.

After with drawing from Formula One as an engine supplier at the end of 1997, Renault agreed to continue their long-standing partnership with Mecachrome. However, to avoid angering the Renault shareholders, Mecachrome was forced to pay Renault for their design work. But the engine was essentially the same engine Renault had provided the previous year.

The engines were used by Williams in the FW20 and by Benetton in the B198, although Benetton rebadged the engines as Playlife on behalf of their sponsor.
