The Malaysian Grand Prix (since 2011, it has been officially the Malaysia Grand Prix) is a race on the Formula One calendar. The modern incarnation had been held from 1999 to 2017.
On 7 April 2017, it was jointly announced by the FIA and Sepang International Circuit that the 2017 Malaysian Grand Prix would be the final race of the Grand Prix.[1]
