Logan Hunter Sargeant (born 31 December 2000) is a American racing driver who most recently competed in Formula One from 2023 to 2024.
In November 2022, it was announced that Sargeant would replace Nicholas Latifi for Williams in 2023 alongside new teammate Alex Albon, making him the first American to compete full-time in F1 since Scott Speed in 2006 and 2007.
His uncle, Harry Sargeant III, operates a giant, multibillion-dollar conglomerate of private global enterprises consisting of aviation companies, oil trading operations, oil refineries, alternative fuels development, and oil and asphalt shipping.[1]
After the Dutch Grand Prix, Logan was released from the team and will be replaced by Argentine F2 driver Franco Colapinto for the remaining races.[2]
