Leslie Thorne (born 23 June 1916 and died 13 July 1993) was a British racing driver who participated in the 1954 British Grand Prix driving a Connaught with the Scottish team Ecurie Ecosse. He also participated in four non-championship Formula One races in 1954 with the same team in the United Kingdom.
Thorne was a chartered accountant, but was also a racing enthusiast. He began racing in hill-climb events in Scotland between 1936 and 1938. He put his racing career on hold after the World War II.
He returned to racing in the single-seater category, starting with Formula Three in 1953. Thanks to his friendship with fellow driver David Murray, he was able to get a drive with Murray's team, Ecurie Escosse.
He retired from racing in 1955, returning to his career as an accountant.
