John Barber is a British former Formula 1 driver, who competed in a single championship race in 1953. He drove for the works Cooper team in the opening round of that season in Argentina, finishing a respectable eighth place.

His best placing in a non-championship race was second in the Scottish National Trophy the year before, driving a privately entered Cooper.
