Jim Crawford (born 13 February 1948 and died 6 August 2002) was a British racing driver from Scotland. He was the 500th person to start a Formula One championship race and was also winner of the 1982 British Formula One Championship. He participated in two Formula One races with Lotus in 1975.

Later in his career, he suffered severe injuries while qualifying for the 1987 Indianapolis 500. He recovered the following year and led 8 laps, although a puncture late in the race dropped him down to 6th position by the end. He continued to participate in the Indianapolis 500 until retiring in 1995.
