Jaime Víctor Alguersuari Escudero is a retired racing driver. He drove in Formula One for Toro Rosso from 2009 to 2011, starting 46 races and scoring 31 points. He was been replaced at Toro Rosso by Daniel Ricciardo and Jean-Éric Vergne for the 2012 season.

Following his exit from Toro Rosso, he spent two seasons as a Pirelli test driver and competed in the inaugural season of Formula E. He also spent some time as a commentator for the BBC.

Alguersuari is now a professional DJ, performing under the stage name Squire. He has played in many clubs in mainland Spain and Ibiza. His retirement from motorsport, aged 25 in October 2015, was made to focus on his DJing career.

Formula One Career[]

Alguersuari made his Formula One début at the 2009 Hungarian Grand Prix at the age of 19 years and 125 days, breaking the record previously held by Mike Thackwell.

Alguersuari scored his first points finish at the 2010 Malaysian Grand Prix, finishing 9th thanks to the change of the points system. His highest finish came at the 2011 Italian Grand Prix, where he finished 7th.
