Italy is a country in Southern Europe which has produced numerous successful Formula One drivers and constructors. It is also the host of the Italian Grand Prix and formerly the San Marino Grand Prix.

The last Italian driver to start a race is Antonio Giovinazzi, who currently competes as a full-time driver in 2019.
