James Howden Ganley (born 24 December 1941 in Hamilton, Waikato Region, North Island, New Zealand) is a retired racing driver from New Zealand who drove in Formula One from 1971 to 1974.

After a strong season in European Formula 5000, Ganley was signed up to drive for BRM for 1971, making his début at the South African Grand Prix. Leaving BRM at the end of the 1972 season, Ganley moved to Frank Williams' Iso-Marlboro team for 1973, nearly being credited with victory at the Canadian Grand Prix because of a timing mix-up. In 1974, Ganley drove the first two races for March before leaving, helping the Japanese Maki effort, for whom failed to qualify twice mid-season. He never raced in F1 again.
