Ho-Pin Tung (born 4 December 1982) is a Chinese-Dutch racing driver. Even though he was born and raised in the Netherlands, he has chosen to race with a Chinese license.
Formula One Career[]
- In 2003, after winning the Formula BMW Asia series, he was rewarded with a test drive with Williams.
- He was announced as a test driver for BMW Sauber for 2007 at the Chinese Grand Prix.
- In December, 2009 he did testing for Renault. The following January he was named the third driver for Renault for 2010. On June 23, he was granted a probationary Super License by the FIA, good for four races. But he never drove the car during a race weekend, and his season ended when he suffered a minor broken bone in his back in a GP2 accident with Jules Bianchi.
- His only recent racing appearances have been in Formula E and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
