Helmut Glöckler (born 13 January 1909 and died 18 December 1993) was a German racing driver who raced primarily in sports cars. He entered the 1953 German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring, but blew his engine during qualifying and did not start the race.

Glöckler's cousin Walter built race cars, which Helmut often raced. One of Walter's prototypes became the inspiration for Porsche's 550 sports car in 1953. Glöckler was most successful in sports car racing, winning the German Sports Car championship in 1952 and 1954.

In 1953, he was given a chance to race in his home Grand Prix driving a Cooper for the small British team Equipe Anglaise. However, during qualifying, his Bristol engine blew up. Had he started the race, he would have been the first Formula One driver to use the number 0 in a race.

After his brief attempt at Formula One, he returned to sports car. He participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 1953 to 1956. At the 1956 race, he was involved in a serious crash that left him with burns and broken leg. He retired from racing shortly after.
