The Hanoi Street Circuit, located in Hanoi, Vietnam, is a motor racing venue built in 2019-2020 by circuit architect Hermann Tilke. It is 3.458 miles long, features 22 challenging turns, and is to be used in the Vietnamese Grand Prix in 2020.
History
The idea of a Formula 1 race in Viet Nam was first explored by Bernie Ecclestone, but the number of races in the far east, and the failure of the races in India and South Korea caused Ecclestone to drop the concept.
