Fred Agabashian (August 21, 1913 - October 13, 1989) was an Armenian-American racing driver who competed in 12 Indianapolis 500 races in the 1940s and '50s, nine of which formed part of the Formula 1 World Championship. Agabashian was polesitter for the 1952 event with a turbocharged diesel engine, but failed to finish. His best result was a shared 4th place in 1953.
