Gianfranco "Franco" Comotti (born 24 July 1906 and died 10 May 1963) was an Italian Formula One driver who participated in two Grand Prix in 1950 and 1952.
Comotti made his racing debut at the 1928 Italian Grand Prix driving a Talbot, but he didn't return to racing until 1931. In 1932, he became one of Scuderia Ferrari's test drivers. He won the 1934 Grand Prix du Comminges for Ferrari while driving an Alfa Romeo Tipo-B P3. He parted ways with the team in 1935.
He moved to France in 1937 to work as a test and reserve driver for the Talbot team. The following year he joined Ecurie Bleue to race a Delahaye car. He made his debut with the team in the European Championship at the 1938 German Grand Prix and he also participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans that year.
After the second World War, he began testing the new Talbot-Lago T26C. He used the car for some privateer entries in 1948.
In 1950, be joined Scuderia Milano as a test driver, making his first Formula One start with the team at the 1950 Italian Grand Prix. A couple of years later, he made his final Formula One start at the 1952 French Grand Prix driving a Ferrari for Scuderia Marzotto.
