In July 2013, FAs begun to be aired for three months at a time, though updates are not always on time. This was reduced to fourth months each for 2015, due to many articles being incomplete.
Then the FA wasn't updated until 2017.

- The featured articles from March 2008 were for individual days, as can be seen in this old revision of the Main Page. In November 2008, the Featured Article template was created, with an incomplete version of Lewis Hamilton featured.
Notes for those wishing to nominate an article to be featured on the Main Page[]
- Something that is current (i.e. anything involved in the current season), or likely to have its article change over a few months, is not viable to be featured as the information is likely to change during the feature, and thus the article could decrease in quality during its feature.
- The topic of the featured article shall change from feature to feature; i.e. if a specific race is featured, the next feature cannot be a race.
- If the featured article has a primary contributor, his or her work shall not be featured twice in succession.
