The Ferrari SF-24 (Project 676) is a Formula One car built by Scuderia Ferrari for the 2024 season. Driven by Carlos Sainz Jr. and Charles Leclerc, with Oliver Bearman substituting for Sainz at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix due to surgery, it debuted at the Bahrain Grand Prix. The SF-24 secured five wins—Leclerc at Monaco and Italy, Sainz in Mexico City, and 1-2 finishes in Australia and the U.S.—plus 22 podiums, four poles, and four fastest laps.

Competitive History[]

The SF-24 debuted at the Bahrain Grand Prix, with Carlos Sainz Jr. taking third and Charles Leclerc finishing fourth after brake issues. In Saudi Arabia, Sainz underwent appendicitis surgery, replaced by reserve Oliver Bearman, who finished seventh, while Leclerc took third. At the Australian Grand Prix, a recovered Sainz won from second on the grid, leading Leclerc for Ferrari’s first 1-2 finish since 2022, aided by Verstappen’s retirement. Leclerc also earned the fastest lap.

n Japan, Sainz (4th) and Leclerc (8th) finished third and fourth, respectively, with varied strategies. Ferrari introduced HP branding at Miami for their 70th U.S. anniversary, followed by an upgrade at Emilia Romagna; Leclerc podiumed in both and won Monaco, Ferrari’s first there since 2017. A double retirement hit in Canada due to engine and collision issues. Leclerc won the Italian Grand Prix with a one-stop strategy, Ferrari’s first Monza win since 2019. In the U.S., Leclerc led a 1-2 finish with Sainz, Ferrari’s first COTA win since 2018. Sainz won in Mexico from pole, with Leclerc third, marking Ferrari’s first victory their in their history.
