The Ferrari 059/3 was a V6 1.6L turbocharged hybrid engine developed by Ferrari for the 2014 Formula One Season. It was used to power the works Ferrari F14 T and it was also sold to engine customer teams Sauber and Marussia for use in the Sauber C23 and Marussia MR03.
Following financial difficulties and an ownership change, Marussia also used the engine for the 2015 season in a B-spec of the MR03 chassis. The team was given special permission by the FIA to do so.
This was Ferrari's first hybrid power unit and their first turbocharged engine since the Ferrari 033A in 1988.
