The Ferrari 055 was a V10 3.0L naturally-aspirated engine developed by Ferrari and used in the Ferrari F2005 for the majority of the 2005 Formula One Season.
The engine was also sold to Sauber for use in the Sauber C24 that season, although the team rebadged it as the Petronas 05A. This was the last time Ferrari sold their engines to Sauber, as BMW acquired the team for the following season.
The engine was used to power the F2005 during its appearance at the 2006 Winter Olympics opening ceremony. The car did a pit stop demo and driver Luca Badoer performed donuts.
