Erwin Bauer (July 17 1912 - June 3 1958) was a German Formula 1 driver, who made his only appearance at his home Grand Prix in a privately entered Veritas. He started in 33rd place and retired with engine failure.

He was killed at the 1958 1000km of the Nurburgring sports car race, driving a Ferrari.
