Beuford "Doc" Shanebrook (born 26 January 1907 and died 25 August 1976) was an American racing driver who attempted to qualify for the 1951 and 1952 Indianapolis 500, although he was unsuccessful in doing so. A welder by profession, Shanebrook earned the nickname "Doc" for his ability to doctor or modify his car.
He used his skills as a welder to try and improve driver safety. He developed a roll-top steel roof for a midget car. He personally tested the safety of the device by intentionally rolling his car.
