Roger Dennistoun "Dennis" Poore (born 19 August 1916 and died 12 February 1987) was a British entrepreneur and Formula One driver. He participated in two World Championship races as well as four non-championship races, one of which he won.
He made his Formula One debut at the 1952 British Grand Prix, scoring three points towards the championship after finishing 4th from 8th on the grid in a Connaught. In the months that followed, he also entered into an assortment of non-championship races before entering into the 1952 Italian Grand Prix.
In the Fall, he finished second in the non-championship 1952 Madgwick Cup and later won the 1952 Newcastle Journal Trophy. After the 1952 season, he continued to race sports cars at a variety of events, including the Goodwood International Nine Hour which he won with co-driver Peter Walker in 1955.
In 1950, Poore bankrolled the founding of the motorsport publication Autosport, which became a popular global brand.
Poore also served as the chairman of Manganese Bronze Holdings, an engineering company that produced marine propellers and motorcycles. In 1973, the company was merged into Norton Villiers Triumph, of which Poore was appointed chairman. Following the merger, Poore sold all non-motorcycle parts of the business and set about restructuring the business.
Norton Villiers Triumph folded in 1978. Poore remained as chairman of Manganese Bronze until his death in 1987.
