Dallara, an Italian race car manufacturer founded by Giampaolo Dallara in 1972, has a notable history in Formula One. Dallara first entered Formula One in 1988, partnering with BMS Scuderia Italia to build their chassis.

One of their significant contributions was the Dallara F191, used during the 1991 season. This car, powered by a Judd V10 engine, achieved a third-place finish at the 1991 San Marino Grand Prix.
