The Czech Republic is a landlocked country in Central Europe. It is bordered by Austria to the south, Germany to the west, Poland to the northeast, and Slovakia to the east. It was known as the Kingdom of Bohemia during medieval times until it became the Czechoslovak Republic after World War I. The Czechoslovak dissolved into the Czech Republic and Slovakia in 1993.

The Czech Republic has never hosted a Formula One Grand Prix race, but the Brno Circuit used to host the MotoGP World Championship until 2020.

Tomáš Enge is the only Czech to have raced in Formula One.
