Cy Marshall (born 17 April 1902 and died 20 December 1974) was an American racing driver who participated in the Indianapolis 500 between 1928 and 1950. He failed to qualify for the 1950 Indianapolis 500, which would have counted towards the Formula One championship.
He first qualified for the Indianapolis 500 in 1930. He asked his brother Paul Marshall to join him in the race as a riding mechanic. Riding mechanics were common in the Indianapolis 500 during the time, tasked with maintaining and repairing the car while riding in the car with the driver during the race. Marshall crashed during the race. He escaped with serious injuries that resulted in the loss of an ear. His brother Paul was killed in the crash.
Despite the loss of his brother, he continued racing, not managing to qualify for the Indianapolis 500 again until 1947. He finished in 8th position, in what was his final Indianapolis 500 start. His final qualifying attempt was in 1950.
