Colin Davis (born 29 July 1933 and died 19 December 2012) was a British racing driver who participated in two Formula One races with Scuderia Centro Sud driving a Cooper in 1959. He was also a two-time class leader at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Davis is the son of British racing driver Sammy Davis, who won the 1927 24 Hours of Le Mans and earned two class victories in 1925 and 1927.
He was an advertising executive who raced a Formula 3 Cooper. He eventually moved to Italy and began his racing career with OSCA in the 1958 24 Hours of Le Mans, where he earned his first class victory. The team also entered him into the 1958 Argentine Grand Prix, although Davis did not participate in the event.
In 1959, Davis drove a Cooper for Scuderia Centro Sud in the French and Italian Grand Prix. In France he had an oil leak early in the race that forced him to retire and in Italy he finished 11th. These were his only two Formula One participations, although he did take part in some non-championship races in the years that followed.
Outside of Formula One, he continued racing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 1962, he raced the event with Scuderia Republica di Venezia as well as the 12 Hours of Sebring that year. He was also entered to drive a Porsche for the team at the 1962 French Grand Prix, although he did not end up participating in the event.
He then joined the works Porsche team in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, winning another class victory with co-driver Jo Siffert in 1966, after which he retired from motorsport.
After retirement he moved to Cape Town, South Africa and worked as a radio broadcaster.
