Circuito del Jarama (formerly Circuito Permanente del Jarama) is a track about 15 km (9 miles) north of Madrid, Spain. The track opened in 1966, and hosted the Spanish Grand Prix a total of nine times, before it was decided that the track was too short and narrow for Formula 1, after the 1981 Spanish Grand Prix.
